It is with great regret that Morag and Barbara have accepted the resignations of the Trustees, Fran Budd, Treasurer and Barry Budd, Public Relations. Both were founding Trustees and much of what has been achieved to date has been done by their help and contributions, not least the work Fran put in during the application to the UK Charities Commission.

We are very appreciative of all their work both individually and as a couple. We fully accept their reasons for this decision, and are happy that they wish to continue their support of Luxor4care all be it in a less formal way. Barry has kindly offered to remain as our Webmaster and we are extremely grateful to him for this.

Morag and Barbara would like to thank them and wish them good health and happiness for the future.

Dear All

I am very sorry to have to tell you that Barry & I have resigned from our positions as Trustees of Luxor4Care. This has been a very difficult decision to make as we both remain very committed to Luxor4Care, the remaining Trustees and the people it is trying to help.

As many of you know Barry’s health has been a major cause of concern over the last 18 months, it has not been as good as we had hoped this winter in Luxor, and he needs to pace himself better.

We are moving shortly, within Luxor, and then returning to the UK to prepare our house there for sale, I will also close my business before returning to Luxor. With these extra commitments we cannot give Luxor4Care the time it needs, and trying to do so will put extra strain on us both.

We will still do all we can to help Luxor4Care, but feel that it is in the best interests of the Charity for us to resign and be replaced by people who can be fully involved.

Thank you all for your support, it has been greatly appreciated, and we trust you will continue to support the Charity and its’ Trustees.
